Camp at ECP
5:54 PM

This post is a whole day late, but meh. I just came back from an overnight stay at ECP on sat with Nic, Kitty and SL~ I went there early cos scared later no spot. (Actually, it's more of no nice spot than no spot at all.) Was in such a rush, that i forgot a couple of stuff. Like a torchlight. And an extra set of tongs... Anw, i got there at about 12+ and set up the tent with the help of my parents. Then they went off for a wedding and left me. So fast forward to later on... >>> ... and the first thing SL did when she stepped into the tent, was lay down and stretched out, going "Ahhhh.." all over the place. ><

So for the next few hours we played Uno, lazed around and did nothing. We wanted to bike before starting the bbq, but it drizzled, so we were forced to scrap that plan. Since it was still drizzling at 6, we decided to have the bbq in the tent! Luckly, the rain stopped. Good thing too. Can't imagine the cost of replacing that tent...

The bbq went better than i hoped tho, except for the tongs part, and the cooking in the dark... We tried going to sleep at about 11, but the park was so noisy, it was more of drifting off to sleep then waking up a few minutes later. SL and Kitty went out at around 2 to watch the ocean and chat, while i went back to trying to catch some zzzs.

Later on at about 3-4, SL went down to the beach to build sandcastles (at first). Denise came back in to sleep, so i went out to keep an eye out for SL. She really damn cute, looking for rocks to build the walls. At first it was supposed to be a box to keep Kitty in, but it became something else later on (read the end to find out!). She only managed to complete like 4 levels before we had to go off. In between levels, she stopped to eat cheesecake and to look at the stars (too bad it was kinda cloudy). She really v cute eating the cheesecake! The first time round, she tried to eat it w/o using any hands and got some on her nose! Too bad i don't have any pics of it. :(

Then at about 6, she stopped to watch the sunrise with me before continuing Too bad Kitty and Nic couldn't wake up to watch the sunrise... It was really nice. By the time SL finished her project, the tide was just coming in. It was a... Throne!!!!!!!! A nice little Throne for the Queen to sit in and watch the tide come in while eating cheesecake. She looks so so so so so cute!!! I'll post the pics later on. I can't stop saying how cute she was sitting there, holding an umbrella and eating cheesecake! Too bad she had to leave it to bathe. By the time she came back, the Throne was partially destroyed and the tide was nearly touching it. So sad. :'( Cheer up SL! There's always next time! Then we had to go, cos Nic had to leave by 10 for something or other. SL looked a little sick and quiet on the way back... I wonder why...

Sushi!
5:51 PM

Hehe… Outdated entry, I typed part by part over the last 2 days. ><

I went Sakae Sushi on Wed, with Denise, Nic and SL. Had to pon 2hrs of Java to go, but it was worth it. So, after Math ended at 12, I went down to NP to meet Denise. Then we took 151 to go meet Nic outside SA. We reached there at about 12.30 and had to wait for Nic to finish at 1. I must say, the place looks downright depressing. The trees just look creepy.

Anw, once Nic decided to grace us with his presence, we took 151 down to Hougang Mall to burn some time, since SL finished at 1.20. So we went there and went to the library where Denise fell asleep sitting on the floor. Then at about 2.30, we went to the interchange to take 113 to Kovan Station. Along the way, we met SL~ I don’t think she really expected us, cos she gave me a blur look when I waved at her until she realised who it was. :P

So fast forward to Sakae Sushi. SL and I sat together while Denise and Nic sat opposite us (obviously). Then.... It started. SL started to attack all the salmon she saw, which was nearly nothing. There were only one or two plates on the belt. So Denise ordered for us from the menu. (On an off note, the Sakae Sushi outlet is kinda lacking in standard. We sat there like blur people waiting for one of the waitresses to come for a couple of minutes. Then 4-5 items on the list wasn't available...) Yea, so Denise ordered like 4 dishes for me. Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon, Salmon Skin and Japanese Pizza. That's all that i can remember. I must say, the Japanese Pizza is kinda nice. Really. I swear. The Salmon Skin just tastes a little like Ikan Bilis to me.. Then SL took one of the Japanese Ball Thingyswhosnameicantremember. I think she didn't notice that they were hot, so she had this cute face on while she chewed. XD

Later on, when Nic went off to the toilet, she did it again, except this time with wasabi. Seriously, her whole face went red. And she always eats her sushi with wasabi, so when you see someone like her going red, you know how bad it is. Then we noticed that there were a few flies there, so SL decided to go on a hunting spree using the cover of the sushi plates. Believe it or not, she actually caught one! Then spent some time trying to figure out what to do with it. In the end, while trying to trap it between two covers, the fly flew away... At that moment, I decided that I will never ever go back to that branch of Sakae Sushi until I'm absolutely sure they wash those covers.

Then at about 4.30, when everyone had more or less finished, we watched part of a movie. Well, SL and I did. Nic watched an anime while Denise got some shut eye, which was one of the main reasons why we dragged her out in the first place. We only managed to watch 3/4 of it, before my laptop boh batt. By then it was pretty late and Denise was walking around in a daze, so we decided to go home. Since SL and I were going the same way, we left Nic and Denise and went off. I saw Goh Wei Qi taking a bus, but I don’t think she noticed me. Anw, we took 112 back. I can’t believe the bus was so packed. Every time I see it, its always empty… We got off somewhere near the stadium and I walked all the way home. The End. Can’t wait for the next outing, cya next time. ;)

A really nice song.
5:39 AM

Hehe, i found this song while i was browsing stuff. It really ain't that bad, give it a listen. The name of the song is I Will Remember You by Lil Crazed. If anyone wants the song, gimme a nudge on msn. :) Here's the lyrics: (PS, song takes some time to load ;) )

i remember the first day like it was yesterday
nervously walkin up to my locker, kinda stayed away
from everybody, cuhz really who are they?
i dont know them they dont know me, i dont even know their name
then i saw my buddy from the last year that past
then i felt a lil comfort just to simply shake his hand
after some reminsicing, we went to our first class
i remember tryin to find a seat in the way back
as the days passed, things went by so fast
before i knew it, i was out partyin wit my whole class
so i guess it wasnt so bad, cuhz oh man
i'm takin memories with me now and not just a full head
dont get me wrong, i learned a lot about life
and what you're LEFT with, yeah its gotta be RIGHT
so now give your self a hand ya'll, congratualations
you've finally reach the end ya'll, its graduation!

now take a quick minute just to reminisce a bit,
high shcool seemed forever but now look it's ending quick
i remember wakin up puttin on my best
mama always taught my how to dress to impress
then i walk down the halls exchange a smile or two
and just to get to class it seemed like a mile or two
then after i take a seat, we conversate about the weekend
"you heard what he did, yeah thats what she said,"
but the gossip made school fun to go to
it just nice to be where everyone knows you
teachers and coaches, i thank you the most cuhz
without ya help i wouldnt be where i'm supposed ta
but see it's time fo me to make my mom n dad proud
look mommy wow, i'm graduating now!
so give yourself a hand ya'll, congratualtions,
you've finally reach the end ya'll, it's graduation!

the future looks bright and now so does my mind
yo im ready for the world now, its time to shine
you see the tears come down and corress my smile?
i'm just happy to be grown now, no longer a child
i see my family in the crowd, with a shine on their face
when they announce my name and i walk down the stage
and get that certificate placed in the palm of my hands
feels like that peice of paper made me a real man
i'm just a human being, that's all that i am
but no need fo an army to be all that i can
cuhz the future is near and i'm ready for whatever
cuhz everything i learned here, i'ma use forever
now everybody remember all the memories we share
as we gettin ready to toss all our caps in the air
and give yourself a hand ya'll, congratualations,
you've finally reach the end ya'll, it's graduation!

Revival
12:36 AM

Heh, been nearly a full year since i've posted anything in this damn thing. Did i really write those previous posts? Somehow i don't see myself in them. Since they're up, they must be done by me... Now, if only i can remember what was going through my mind then. But no point puzzling through them. Thought it might be nice to have something new, plus the old skin was starting to make my eyes hurt. Its a new start, new school and all that. SP seems to be a pretty fun place, and i dont regret my choice, tho sometimes i think i should have taken aerospace engi instead of ism (infocomm security management). The only thing standing between me and that course, is my eyesight... Yea... Oh well, maybe i can go for laser surgery in the future. :P

Anyway, the course is pretty cool, only 40 slots are open each year. I don't really know why, but i think it's got something to do with the ethical hacking we'll learn in year 2. Maybe, i don't know. But i have to say, being a DISM student is so damn cool! I mean, we have access to all of the SMIT infocom security labs, which requires face, thumbprint or palm recognition. And we're cleared for all of em! From what my seniors say, they were only able to do that during the second half of year 1. And we've been registered for more than 2 months.

I do feel uncomfortable tho. After 10 years in primary and secondary school, and having to obey school rules, poly life seems to give too much freedom. Suddenly i'm free to skip class if i want, free to dress how i like, free to do nearly anything i want, so much so, i feel pretty strange. I guess i'll get used to it sooner or later, but i don't think i'll ever like it.

Hmm... I don't think ive even started to cover everything that's happened in the last 4 months or so. I'll have to get round to entering 'em sooner or later. Which will happen sometime this year. When i'm sufficiently bored to actually log in and type this. Till then.
